True enough, someone has to physically visit Iraqi Kurdistan in order to understand the region. Media scared us in ways that all we thought of are bombs, gunshots, terrorism, and a lot more. As a tour guide in the region, I'm happy to see how travelers change their perception as they set foot in Kurdistan. When asked, all they rave about are the warmth of our people and the amazing landscapes and stories recorded in either rocks, structures, and the way we live. Travelers like them are the true ambassadors of our region. This video published by a professional videographer Shamlo Faek tells us that there's more to Iraq than war, terrorism and uncertainty.
